Ol'Mom goes on vacation, and comes back. She tells Slobbies all about how nice it was there, which makes Slobbies wonder why she even came back at all. She explains that this is still her home. Home is where the building stands. Slobbies decides he's got to have a home of his own too, so off he goes to the hardware store to buy himself planks and nails to build his own dog house. But Hans Wors, the "dog house constructor", seems to swindle Slobbies out of money. And when Slobbies builds a doghouse himself, it starts to rain and it's all wet and moist in the dog house. Should he rather have stayed with Ol'Mom?
